    9 The development of PACPUS started in 2006 and the source code was released as open source in 2013. Very often people ask us why not using ROS in place of PACPUS? Our answer is quite simple, we started the development of PACPUS before ROS would exist and it will be a huge work to leave all the code to move to ROS.
